| The
Insta-Test® Phosphate pool and spa strips provide very quick and reliable
water test results. Phosphates are important contributors to algae growth
and can reduce the effectiveness of some automated chlorinated systems. This
unique test allows the user to read low range test results by looking down
in the reacted sample tube. Test instructions are on the bottle along with a
color chart. Keep phosphates below 300 ppb to avoid problems in your pool or
spa equipment. LaMotte company has over 85 years of experience in water
analysis and offers a complete line of Insta-Test® strips for the pool and
spa owner's needs.
IMPORTANT TIPS
- Store strips inside the home, away from extreme
heat or sunlight.
- To open cap, push up with thumb and carefully
pull out a strip.
- Avoid wet fingers inside the vial and close the
vial tightly right after removing the strip.
- To close cap, press the center of the cap down
firmly until it stops.
- In pools, immerse the strip to elbow depth and
swirl three times to test the pool water.
- In spas, turn off jets and immerse the strip 6"
below the water surface and swirl three times to measure results.
Instructions
- Fill test tube (0106) to 10ml line
- Remove one test strip from vial. Cap vial
tightly after removing strip. Gently bend strip in half (do not fold)
with pads facing inward. Place strip inside test tube cap (as shown).
- Cap test tube and invert 5 times.
- Remove cap and test strip
- Place bottom of test tube on white boxed area
of color chart. Look down thru open test tube (as shown) and compare to
color chart.
Phosphate strip measures the Phosphate levels from 0 to
2500 ppb in 15 seconds. The Phosphate strips are packaged 25 strips per
bottle
